preserve, advance and disseminate knowledge
of the history of the Sauk Prairie area.
What are we about?
The Sauk Prairie area includes:
A large rural area and the communities of Sauk City, Prairie du Sac, Merrimac, Leland, Denzer, Blackhawk, Witwen, and Roxbury.
Sauk Prairie Area Historical Society own and operate three museum sites: Tripp Memorial Museum, Lady of Loretto Church Museum,
and Salem (Ragatz) Church Museum.
Tripp Memorial Museum is the home office of Sauk Prairie Area Historical Society and is located at 565 Water Street - downtown Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. This primary site consists two floors of display area, museum office, and basement storage area.
