The tour of the Prairie du Sac hydroelectric dam was held during the weekend of Sept. 12, 13 & 14. Over 900 people arrived at Tripp, boarded buses, & toured the dam in celebration of its 100 years of service. Because the tours were so popular (and sold out three times!) there may be plans to repeat in Spring 2015. Thanks to Alliant Energy for their support of this historic event. Our 2014/15 Tripp Club 21 Lecture series got off to a standing room-only-crowd October 10 to hear local author Phil Hasheider talk about his new book on historic Honey Creek Mills & Gilbert Williams speak about his Lonesome Stone Mills (ad)venture. Join us again November 14 at 6:30 p.m. for our second Lecture: "LaCrosse Your Heart." A presentation from the Sauk Praire High School LaCrosse coach on this sport that is becoming more popular by the year. $7 cover charge.
